Working principles of waffle mattresses:

• Each foam's plot moves independently: the mattress contours to the patient and reduces clearly the shear forces.
• The air channels between the plots enhance the air circulation, avoid heat to built up und reduce moisture.

• The multi-bearing surfaces improve the spread of pressures on areas at risk (back, sacrum, heels).
• Moulded waffle structure (≠ cut): Polymulti® offers a better duratbility, a better resistance against all types of external wear and tear, as well as a softer touch.
• High density of high resiliency foam: 40kg/m3
• The design with tight plots grants maximum contact surface and thus greatest possible pressure distribution.
